BS 48 Biosafety Changing Station

Possible configurations: the machine can be positioned either on a laboratory bench or on a self-standing support (adjustable to different heights) or on a mobile base.
The machine can be configured as a biohazard cobinet through the simple substitution of the exhaust grid and of the removable frames for cage changing. In this configuration it must be positioned on a benchtop or on a self-standing base.
The work surface for the cage changing is composed of two easily romovable frames, bulit in soundabsorbent, anti-scratch and autoclavable material.
The Exhaust HEPA filter can be accessed from the top of the cabinet, while the access to the main HEPA filter and to the motorblower is made easier by a removable panel. The electronic control card is not part of the contaminated area since it is located behind a panel which can be easily liftet thanks to gas springs.
BS 48 is very easy to clean since all the inner and outer surfaces have rounded corners.
A mobile base is available as an optional item: it allows to easily transport the unit and features an auto lift system which adjusts the height of the work surface, thus allowing the ergonomic positioning of the operator while working. The unit is provided with a supply output for the optional mobile base.
