Polycarbonate

is transparent, with an exceptional strength and heat resistance. Autoclavable up to 121°C. Frequent autoclaving reduces life span because of hydrolysis. Alkaline residuals and amine corrosion inhibitors from steam generators may dull or damage Polycarbonate.

 

H-Temp™

High Temperature Polysulfone is a transparent plastic highly restistant to alkaline, acid detergents and steam additives. Even after repeated autoclaving it maintains clarity and strength assuring a long life span and good return on investment. Autoclavable up to 150°C.

 

 

U-Temp™

is a super heat resistant transparent Polytherimide plastic with a good impact strength. Thanks to superior hydrolytic stability and resistance to most acid and basic solutions, it maintains good impact strength and transparency even after 1000 hours of autoclaving at 134°C. Recommended in large facilities where boiler additives contaminate steam provided by a central generator plant. The remarkable long life and performance of this material make U-Temp™ cages the right choice for long term economy. Autoclavalbe up to 160°C.
