Controlled Atmosphere Chamber with Catalyst Heater 855-AC

This chamber has been designed for working in situations requiring oxygen sensitive tasks and critical isolation of either the operator or research materials. Its main advantage is it minimizes the risk of oxygen entry into the main working chamber. If trace amounts of oxygen happen to enter the chamber, the catalyst heater reduces it into water vapour.

Applications for the unit include: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Plasma Environment work, Animal science studies, Toxicology and Electric Sub-Assembly.

Basic features

• Formed one piece clear acrylic top 
• Two vacuum pressure pumps, one each for tranfer chamber and drying train
• Drying train includes polycarbonate canisters containing Molecular Sieve
• Bright fluorescent light system 
• Self sealing quick disconnects enable the operator to change the drying train without disturbing the internal atmosphere
• Four ground key cock valves for purging 
• Inner door on transfer chamber opens automatically when pressures are neutralized between main chamber and transfer chamber
